Description: Use the KetoCal Dough batch recipe to make this savory Latin dish.  Similar to samosas, these Argentinean pastries are filled with meat and flavorful chimichurri sauce that make the taste buds jump for joy. Shape the final product into a semi-circle and press edges to seal with a fork for the traditional South American treat. Makes 2 empanadas . The chimichurri sauce is 15:1 ratio and can be added to other dishes for a flavor boost.

Ingredients:
 g KetoCal Dough (User-Added*)
 g Beef, ground 85% lean - cooked
 g KetoU Chimichurri Sauce (User-Added*)
 g Spice: garlic powder (User-Added*)
 g Spice: Onion powder (User-Added*)

Directions:


Make KetoCal Dough batch recipe• Weigh out ingredients.
• Mix beef with garlic, onion powders, and chimichurri sauce. Season with salt and pepper. 
• Divide dough into 2 portions.
• Roll each piece between sheets of parchment paper to a small circle (about 4”) 
• Divide the beef mixture between the dough pieces.
• Fold dough over the meat to create a semi-circle.
• Seal the edges by either folding over or pressing with the tines of a fork. 
• Bake in 350˚ F oven for 15-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown. 
• Allow empanadas to cool before serving. Makes 2 empanadas.
