KetoCal Glazed Doughnuts (3:1)

Description: These keto doughnuts are delicious and versatile! Switch up the flavor and appearance with low carb toppings, such as bacon, sprinkles (Truvia and food coloring), cinnamon & Stevia, shredded unsweetened coconut, crushed macadamia nuts, etc. This recipe makes approximately 8 mini doughnuts, but may vary depending on the cavity size of your mini doughnut maker.

Ingredients:
 g Truvia Natural Sweetener - 1 packet weighs 3.5gm
 g Baking Powder - Calumet (Kraft)
 g Egg (raw, mixed well)
 g Mayonnaise, Hellmann's/Best Foods
 g Vanilla extract - pure
 g Formula: KetoCal 4:1 powder - Nutricia
 g Almond Flour (whole ground blanched almonds)

Directions:

  1. Weigh out all ingredients 
  2. Mix ingredients together 
  3. Allow batter to rest for at least 5 minutes 
  4. Heat mini doughnut maker (you could also use cake pop maker for doughnut holes!) 
  5. Fill doughnut cavities level 
  6. Close lid and allow to cook for 5 minutes 
  7. Carefully remove doughnuts and allow to cool 
  8. Make glaze by combining Splenda and water 
  9. Either drizzle over or dip mini doughnut in the Splenda syrup 
  10. Allow doughnut to absorb the syrup 
  11. Choose your own low-carb toppings to make your doughnuts unique and tasty! Examples include bacon crumbles, sprinkles (Truvia mixed with food coloring), cinnamon & Truvia, shredded unsweetened coconut, crushed macadamia nuts, etc. Makes approximately 8 mini doughnuts, but may vary depending on the cavity size of your mini doughnut maker
